There are playgrounds and then there are works of art. Maple Grove is the latter. This a playground that celebrates art as well as the art of play.
Created by design studio Agency of Sculpture (the brains behind Imagination Playground in Beechworth and the Dragon Park Playground in Officer) Maple Grove masterfully blends sculpture and classic play structures… with a little splash of joy and whimsy.
The climbable metal cars look like they were abandoned there years ago and the welded Zeppelin feels like it just landed from outpace moments earlier. The recycled material silos interconnected by a continuous rainbow bridge give kids the ability to soak in the entire space from different vantage points.
A huge flying fox, giant tunnel slide, swings, rock climbing walls and basketball court round out this playground that can only be described as out of this world!
