A new Family-Friendly Entertainment Venue - Hoopla, Pakenham

Attention Easties - Hoopla is here!... well almost. The $15 million purpose built space in Pakenham’s industrial precinct is going to be a destination venue for families in the south east. And that’s the special thing… Hoopla is not just made for kids - it’s been designed with the whole family in mind. This family-friendly entertainment space has all the bells and whistles kids love but with small tweaks here and there that make life for the grown ups just *that* much easier.

Let’s start with the biggest draw card of them all - Hoopla’s second location is going to boast Australia’s largest soft play area with a 3000sqm zone for kids to jump, climb, run and slide through. Even better? Hoopla have designed the entire area to adult height - no more getting on all fours to fish a kid out of the darker most recesses WOOHOO!

These guys are not messing around. Their Pakenham location is going to be absolutely chock full of things to keep the littlies and biggies happy. For the kids there’s also a fully enclosed toddler play zone, electric ride-on car circuit, arcade games (some of which result in guaranteed wins to avoid meltdowns) and blitz bowling lanes which are smaller than a regular lane and use a smaller ball for those little hands. Don’t worry grown ups - there are still a couple of regular bowling lanes AND pool tables to keep you entertained.

Hoopla are taking their food offering VERY seriously as well - the kitchen here is HUGE and will be slinging pub/bistro crowd pleasers for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as baked goods and pastries all made onsite. There is also a separate licensed bar area complete with large tv screens so you can watch the footy with a pint.

And although Hoopla Pakenham will fast become the place to take the kids on a Friday night when cooking dinner just feels that bit too hard - their party/event spaces will have you making this your go to celebration spot as well! With 7 dedicated party rooms and a private function space upstairs that looks over the entire venue, there's a space to suit everything from birthday parties and family gatherings to larger celebrations and events.

A Bayswater location has also been announced and will open in late 2026.
