Well Mammas, Danding Dandelion is the newest and cutest play cafe in town! This play area has everything to help your little one's imagination run wild! There are amazing play stations everywhere you look. Most of them are wooden and handmade, and all of them are ADORABLE.
You can sit at your desk and type emails in the play office, answer the phone and post letters. Move further along to dish out ice cream, head to the cake stand, shop at the supermarket, cook up a meal or do some housework. The middle of the room has a camping set up with a little tent, BBQ, little mushroom stools and a felt campfire…it even has a stick with marshmallows to roast!
This space really encourages pretend play. Our 2.5 yr old had a great time putting logs on the fire while his little mate cooked some snags on the barbie! Towards the front of the room there is an area with all the usual much loved toys- cars, racetracks, a workbench and firetrucks. Mamma’s 9 month old was happy roaming around everywhere, however there is a play pen for the babies too.
If your little one is in need of some quiet time you can climb the stairs to the sky (mind your head mamma’s) to a small library with some cute little mats, stuffed teddies and a lovely calm environment
The best part is there is a limited number of tables…so the play area will never become too crowded and chaotic.
This space has such a quiet and calming feel to it, really encouraging quiet, imaginative play and without any large climbing frames or big play equipment there is no fear of your little ones getting stuck or falling from anywhere. The play area is gated and all tables have a clear vision of the play area so you know your kids are safe. Mamma must mention the area was so clean and hygienic with hand sanitiser at the gate.
Kids meals are included with entry price, and while some of the menu is not your typical play centre delights, there’s also some of the usual suspects to choose from. Mamma’s little one gave their Babycino the tick of approval. Do try to get there early as the place fills up quickly. We will definitely be heading back here for another play.
