Mamma has never had an ice cream like the ones you will find at Kariton Sorbetes. This frozen treat shop - artisanal gelato if you please - is a real mix of influences and most significantly Filipino flavours.
Here you will find some really unique combinations that the kids may not have ever heard of before. There is the Ube Halaya is made from purple yam (the most popular option), the Abukado Condensada - an avocado and condenced milk flavour; or the incredible Keso - Cheddar cheese gelato with ‘SkyFlakes’ crackers, roasted cashews and more lashings of grated cheddar!
If having a cup or cone isn’t your style, you can get premade and handheld treats OR grab a container to take home. This is really a store that you will need to visit over and over again to have the full experience. Mamma will certainly be back to try the Turon - Banana gelato with muscovado butterscotch, jackfruit, candied sesame seeds and caramelised spring roll pastry. Mind blowing!
