montrose community playground, montrose

Montrose Community Playground has to be one of the most delightful community places Mamma has ever visited. This huge park has three distinct sections and caters for all ages. There is the 'big kid' area with great big climbing structures, slides and swings. The 'little ones' equipment that is much smaller and accessible (not so much balancing required - although boardwalks might be a little tough on the knees).

Finally there is Mamma's favourite and probably the cutest part, the 'community'. There are fantastic structures, painted and designed to be the local shops and services in the local area. How amazing! From the CFA, the forest, chocolate shop and of course - the library. Although it is not completely fenced, there seems to be plenty of distractions to keep the attention of little ones within the park itself.

Mamma's special mentions: We are always on the look out for a nearby coffee stop and we just LOVE the Posie Project up the road. Great coffee, snacks and is a beautiful gift shop too.
