From the team behind Burwood East staple Eastwood, comes Banksia - the kid friendly, pooch friendly cafe that will be at the top of your list the next time people ask - “where should we meet?”
The menu champions brunch classics with a twist - think eggs benny with toasted milk bread and lemon salsa, smashed avocado with smoked chilli oil and dukkah and a chicken schnitzel burger with a Caesar salad twist. Toasties and chips are also on the menu for those feeling less adventurous.
If you can tear them away from the playground, kids can enjoy the provided colouring in as well as favourites like eggs on toast, waffles and chicken and chips.
Mamma loves that a 4pm close time during the week means that a park visit can be accompanied by the late afternoon coffee hit so desperateely needed by many.
