The jewel in the crown of The Orchard at Montague has got to be the onsite restaurant - Stella’s Kitchen. Nestled within the picturesque setting of The Orchard, Stella’s delivers on flavour, fun and views… ohh, the views.

There is something here for everyone. For the grownups, the restaurant is a celebration of seasonal paddock-to-plate dishes inspired by its surrounds and crafted from locally sourced produce.

For the kids, Stella’s provides a generous kids menu, colouring in sheets and vast expanses of green to run around and explore.

Now, the food - Mamma’s weakness is a grazing platter, and the one here at Stella’s Kitchen is dream hauntingly good. From the freshly made thin bread crisps which shatter spectacularly to the refreshing pickles, decadent cheese and flavourful cured meats - the whole board was a show stopper Mamma reluctantly shared with the family.

The kids are looked after too with their chicken and chips elevated from the standard nuggets to a crumbed cutlet that actually resembles the meat it’s supposed to be… which the kids absolutely devoured.

But don’t worry, they left plenty of room for ice cream and Stella’s Trio of Apple - a selection of desserts inspired by the orchard the restaurant sits on. Think apple pie bites, *moist* apple cake and deconstructed crumble all washed down with a lush crème anglaise. Apple-solutely delicious.
