Hologram Zoo, Ringwood

Welcome to Melbourne’s first Hologram Zoo! Located in Ringwood (at the back of Ringwood Square, under Bunnings) this fresh, new immersive experience is pretty unique. Using Hologram technology and cool 3D glasses, you and your family move through ‘tunnels’ or projection rooms, as the screens come to life and jump out at you! Whether it’s exploring all things space or the deep unknown of the ocean, the kids will marvel in the experience.

There are times where animals appear to jump out of the screen at you. You might wish to duck as a shark tries to get you, or reach a hand out to catch a snowflake or a flying salmon. But of course, there is nothing there. Just a trick of light and hologram science. The tunnels work on a timing system and your group will end up doing 5 laps of these two tunnels as you walk through the program. You follow a light on the wall so you get the best vantage point and thrills from the graphics.

In addition to the tunnels, there is a green screen photobooth that is heaps of fun. This is no extra charge and you get a digital download of all the ridiculous images and videos straight to your phone. Their is also a cafe on site and large activity zone with colouring in, giant connect 4 and hologram screen with a 40 minute looped show for when your tour is over but you’re not quite ready to leave

All the kids get a pop up hologram card to take home, with the old school red and blue glasses, so the fun can follow you all the way home.
