templeton reserve playground, wantirna

Mamma and the fam have dozens of playgrounds that we have christened with our own little names. From Magpie Park in Canterbury, to Dragon Park in Ferntree Gully (where other families call this the Duck Park) to the Big Bird Nest park in Doncaster. Well, in the case of this fresh and new park at Templeton Reserve in Wantirna - welcome to WOMBAT Park.

This playground has a little bit for everyone in this fully fenced and gated space. The main structure is a huge tower and aimed at your bigger preschoolers as it takes a bit of climbing to get to the top. For the smaller kiddos, there are two different slides that are easily accessed, including one built into the hill side. There are plenty of natural elements separating the different sections of playground. There’s a little sandpit, double swings, the bird nest swing and - what Mamma’s kids seem to love the most - the concrete wombats.

Mamma's special mention: What about more playground adventures close by? Check out Wantirna Reserve.
