tim neville arboretum, ferntree gully

Somewhere....hidden between Boronia and Ferntree Gully .... lies a little kingdom and it is AMAZING! A castle, dragons, fairy garden, a drawbridge and a moat. We used to call this playspace the "carvings park" in the 90s and recall it being a massive wooden adventure playground. This time around - still AWESOME. There is a huge flying fox, a TRIPLE slide wall (perfect for crawling up!) a sand pit, plenty of swings, the wobbly lillypads (please someone tell Mamma what it is called?!), lots of trails to quiet cubbies and an Auslan alphabet dotted everywhere. This really is a great accessible park with a brilliant use of imagination and fairytales. The kids also best behave or they might find themselves in the stocks! Ha!

Mamma's special mention: Ferntree Gully is killin' it with the awesome playspaces. Be sure to visit Wally Tew down next to the library for a forest floor adventure!
