Not to be mistaken with Petty’s Orchard, Pettys Reserve in Templestowe has had a huge upgrade with new soccer pitches and facilities. However Mamma and her boys were more interested in the new playground. There’s a gorgeous caterpillar to walk up, so many different ropes to climb that Mamma had to keep a very close eye on her adventurous 2 year old.
There is one large structure with rock climbing, climbing ropes, tunnel slide and fireman’s pole. The area also consists of an angle shaped merry go round, small trampoline and a double slide that gets you to the bottom of the caterpillar. Mamma’s boys also enjoyed watching some soccer training as well as walking the walls around the soccer grounds.
