ninja park @ ruffey lake park, templestowe

Calling all ninja kids! There is a NEW ninja course open and ready for conquering at Ruffey Lake Park.

Set off around the course that includes jumping platforms, upright poles, swinging racks, a warped wall that features rock climbing handles. Then there are unbalanced monkey bars, ropes to climb and balancing platforms. Set a timer and watch them go!

This circuit is not an easy one - well, not easy for the 6 and 9 year old Mamma had testing it out. Did that mean they had a terrible time? No ma’am. In fact, they wanted to keep trying and trying over and over again.

The area has had a nice refresh with a public BBQ plus a new undercover viewing platform with views of the lake.

A great addition to the Lake facility.

the nitty gritty

toilets in the park (but very hilly end not close) - BBQ - small parking bay - open field - limited shade - rubbish bin

The Boulevard (from King Street end), Doncaster

Mamma's special mention: For a playground better suited to the little kids, head to the Boulevard Playground. You can walk from here (it’s a big hill) or park closer (you will have to enter from George Street.
