Is it a bookshop? Is it a coffee shop? Is it a street food stall? Well - it’s a bit of all three. Penny and a Pickle is a BEAUTIFUL space in Emerald where you can head for a caffeine hit, a morning tea or a spot of lunch. The menu is all takeaway options including yummy Mexican street food (quesadillas were on the menu for our visit), cakes, brownies and slices. Coffee is delicious and the bubble tea is a real treat.
The added bonus to this cafe is the kids corner! The little guys can play shop and chef in their own mini kitchen, you just have to promise to enjoy the wooden toast and stiff coffee! Or they might just prefer the wooden tree house. Either way, this family friendly combo will ensure you have a moment to to enjoy that hot drink while it is still HOT!
