This is like no other fine “fun”dining experience you have had before - and it’s kid friendly! Hyatt Place in Scoresby is the home to Le Petit Chef. Join Le Petit Chef on an adventure through the seasons as he finds love and starts a family during your four course meal.
“Huh?!” Mamma hears you say… let us explain. Le Petit Chef is an immersive dining experience that employs the use of projections to bring animations to life across your table and plate! Follow the narrative and watch Le petite chef create your meal on the plate before your very eyes before the real life version is delivered to your table by a waiter. This is the modern “dinner and a show” reimagined.
What Mamma loves is that this 4 course experience has been made accessible to families and is incredibly kid friendly! Along with the projections, kids will love the bubble party, singing and amazing dry ice mist that fills the room and tables during dessert (spoiler alert!).
The menu is expertly crafted with a grown up menu and kids menu available (with options to choose the Classic, Grand or Vegetarian menu when booking). Mamma enjoyed dishes like pea veloute, scallop tortellini, eye fillet and a rich chocolate hazelnut delice - yum!
Mamma’s 6 year old LOVED the 4 course kids menu (but it is worth noting that it is A LOT of food). The kids menu includes tomato soup, spaghetti Napoli, mini cheeseburgers and fries and a chocolate fudge brownie with ice cream and mix-ins.
This is a special experience indeed, made even more special by the fact that you can share it with the whole family!
Mamma’s hot tip - there are plenty of photo ops during this experience and Mamma suggests taking them all as “live” photos (or the android equivalent) to avoid colour bands appearing on your images.

The dining experience lasts for 1.5 hours with one session available on Wednesday/Thursday and two sessions on Friday/Saturday.
