Mamma can not believe that in 30-something years of being an eastie local, that was the first time stepping wheels into the suburban icon that is the Caribbean Rollerama. This roller skating rink is an institution! For four decades it has been the central location for thousands of skating lessons, millions of fast laps and countless roller discos. No matter your preference of wheels - skates or blades - you are welcome to hone your skills.

Rollarama run all sorts of lessons on the weekends, from beginner skaters, right up to the pros. In only one lesson, Mamma’s little 6 year old put on her first set of wheels, learnt to do little marching steps to start rolling, perfected how to get up off the ground and even do a little jump! The teachers are fantastic and patient, and if your kids need it, you can stay on the floor to help too. Expect plenty of spills and lots of proud - and maybe a little exhausted - faces on the way home.
