Anyone who grew up in Berwick and surrounds would be familiar with the iconic Clover Cottage Estate. Closing at the end of 2016, this beautiful property lay dormant for almost 10 years until new owners breathed new life into it.
Reopened by partial owners of Paradise Valley Hotel in Clematis, the new Clover Cottage Estate is a step back in time - with beautifully kept grounds, ornate fixtures, fittings and furnishings that evoke the charm of a bygone era. The menu also pays homage to another time with a contemporary twist - think Osso Bucco, Nicoise Salad and Chicken Supreme.
If you’re looking for a special meal out, The Restaurant (open for lunch and dinner) is where you’ll want to book - you can either choose a two or three course menu. There is no kids menu here though… but did Mamma mention the cheese cart?! *drool*
If you are looking for something a little more laid back, casual and family-friendly, Mamma suggests booking a table in The Brasserie (open breakfast, lunch and dinner). Here, you can enjoy terrace seating in their beautiful garden, a great kids menu and colouring in for the little ones!
If the weather is fine, Mamma insists you grab a table outside where you can bask in the sun while the kids let off some steam on the grass.
