Mamma just LOVES the Dandenongs and LOVES going to Kallista Deli and Cafe. This gorgeous little cafe, set in the cutest of towns offers up a great selection of food (sourced freshly from local produce and local suppliers). You can sit indoors and enjoy the peace and quiet- there is even a little kids corner with colouring in, books and puzzles. On a sunny day Mamma recommends sitting outside in the court yard, or out the front and enjoy the hustle and bustle of tourists and locals alike.
If you feel like eating somewhere even more relaxed, order the Kids Picnic Basket off the menu and head to one of many beautiful picnic spots in the area. The cafe also has a great vegan menu- the vegan cauliflower burrito is highly recommended.
