Beagleys Picnic Ground — mamma knows east

There’s nothing better than a picnic in the Dandenongs on a nice sunny day. Set under the mountain ash trees, along the Sassafras Creek, Beagleys Picnic Ground is the perfect spot. Centrally located, you can grab a coffee or some takeaway from many of the local cafes in the Dandenongs and settle in for a nice relaxing lunch.

The picnic ground isn’t huge, but has quite a few picnic tables to choose from as well as a large, flat grassy area to throw down some picnic rugs or kick the footy around. After your picnic you can check out the creek and wander along the creek trail as far as those little feet will allow. Be sure to stop and check for monsters inside the hollow tree.
