Sugar Rush by Steph is a local Eastie business who specialises in customised cookies and they have to be the cutest (and most delicious) treats around! Whether it is for a special occasion like a birthday party, baby shower or just a way to surprise friends, the Sugar Rush team can create a cool creation just for you. The factory based in Bayswater North has been busy with corporate orders (great if you want something to send out from the office), as well as the custom cookie designs with royal icing. Mamma’s pack was filled with all the things we love - avocado and toast, donuts, flowers and teddy bears! Even some of the new choc chip cookie range!
In addition to these cute designs, they also have DIY Cookie packs. Blank canvas cookies (ours were dinosaur shaped) are supplied, along with piping bags filled with colourful icing, so the kids can decorate their very own patterns and designs. They may not be as professional looking as Steph’s BUT they are still delicious. Regardless, the kids will be proud of their efforts and will need to show great patience if you want them to set before devouring them. Mamma thinks they are a fun activity for school holidays or even for a party game.
The cookies can be delivered Australia-wide or picked up from the local factory. The treats stay fresh for up to 8 weeks in their packaging… but our set were nibbled up well before then!
