spring school holidays in whitehorse

Beat school holiday boredom with fun activities from Whitehorse’s Spring School Holiday Program. There’s plenty of entertaining and affordable experiences for the kids to discover. Whether their passion is sport, arts, environmental, history or something the whole family can enjoy together!

Mamma has checked through the program and has made a short list of her top picks:

  • Hamlet: Prince of Skidmark live family show from The Listies, showing at Box Hill Town Hall on Tuesday 26 September. Children's entertainment stars The Listies pull apart Shakespeare’s classic and glue it back together.

  • Kelly Sports day programs at Sportlink in Vermont South. Learn basic skills such as kicking, throwing and catching in a fun, engaging and exciting environment. Sports include Basketball, Cricket, Soccer, AFL, Hockey, crazy games, gymnastics and more.

  • Strathdon House and Orchard Precinct art classes and workshops including mosaic, portrait making and all day art sessions.

  • Make a splash at Aqualink. The Chillzone will be up and running with small and large inflatables at Nunawading

  • Celebrate our Heritage Week Schwerkolt Cottage with the theme of transport. Read the history clues and choose your transport to complete the activity sheet! Running on weekends on school holidays from 1pm - 4pm.

  • The ever popular Box Hill Community Arts Centre classes and workshops are BACK! Jump online to book a session.

  • There is a bunch of great sport camps and clinics run at Sportlink and Aqualink (all locations) to try your hand at netball, basketball and table tennis. OR hire your own court to shoot your own hoops!
