Tucked around a corner and in a cute little spot opposite Mitcham train station you will find a cosy little cafe filled to the brim with books and family love! The crew at Collectors Coffeehouse in Mitcham are new to the area but they love a chat and a good coffee. Deb is more than happy to welcome the whole family too. As quick as a flash, she will move some tables out of the way and cart over a trolley of games and colouring, so Mamma can relax on the couch with her latte. She might even do some scribbling with the kiddos!
The cafe offers your classic cakes and scones as well as a huge drinks menu and brilliant array of baguettes, making it an awesome spot for lunch or for grabbing a takeaway. The kids love a rainbow sprinkle babycino matched with a fairy bread cookie.
Mamma's special mention: Although it is further north along Mitcham Road, Halliday Park is the most WONDERFUL playspace within the City of Whitehorse and Mamma recommends you head here after your coffee fuel up! OR you could always explore the House of Books. Literally a house FILLED with books at bargain basement prices!
