You CANNOT go through the Upper Yarra without stopping at the Valley’s favourite roadside bakery - Gladysdale Bakehouse. This is your local country-style bakery but on the next level. Once you walk through the fly-wire front door, you will be blown away by the cabinets that are literally over flowing with both sweet and savoury options. You HAVE to try their famous vanilla slice or go for your less traditional raspberry meringue that is the size of your young child’s head! Dining in options are available if you want to grab a numbered wooden spoon and pick a spot on the verandah, indoors or in the front yard.
