Yi’s DIY in Balwyn is a hit with creative minds and busy little hands.

Located on the bustling Whitehorse Rd, workshops focus on unique handcrafts and creations with 4 types of crafty sessions on offer - beading, Moru dolls, Decoden cream and BYO plushy makeovers.

Bring a little buddy to life by bending massive pipe cleaners into the cutest little fluffy bears or bunnies packed with personality. Mamma’s six year old absolutely loved going through the racks of tiny clothes and accessories on offer to adorn her new friend, “Twinkle”.

Select from a range of items to decorate with charms and decoden cream - a silicon based medium designed to mimic the look of whipped cream. From picture frames and water bottles to notebooks and nightlights, the choice is yours! This one is so fun, it feels like you’re decorating a cake!

You can also design and make some beautiful beaded pieces or bring your own plushy in to decorate and embellish - aka pimp your own Labubu.

Workshops are designed for ages 6 and up with all materials provided (besides the byo plushy makeover sessions). Even cooler? They do birthday parties too!
