Sit back, relax and enjoy the show! At V Junior at Village Cinemas in Westfield Knox, a trip to the movies is fun for the whole family.

V Junior is a cinematic experience designed with little ones in mind. Combining two things that kids love: movies and play, the V Junior experience truly caters to miniature cinephiles, making it the perfect outing to captivate your little ones.

30 minutes before showtime, kiddos have access to a V Junior-exclusive play area in the theatre’s foyer. This play space includes Mega Blocks, colouring in tables, Hotwheels tracks and interactive digital screens. It is the perfect way to build excitement and get some beans out before heading into the main theatre.

Immediately upon entrance into the cinema, children will notice the giant slide. No, seriously, it is giant. The slide is available for use prior to the film and during intermission. It’s the perfect adrenaline rush for Mamma’s little adventurers.

About halfway through the film, there is a 10 minute intermission. This is the perfect opportunity for kiddos to run around (especially on the Hotwheels light-up floor screen), jump on the slide or pop to the toilet. It’s such an important little circuit breaker and Mamma is always grateful for some time for her little ones to burn off some energy.

Each film has modified volume for little ears and the cinemas are dimly lit throughout the screening to make it easy for Mamma to keep her eyes on her minis. There is also a specialised kids’ menu with treats to keep little tummies satisfied.

There are three seating options available to book: standard chairs, bean bag chairs and reclining lounges. Mamma’s little ones rave about the bean bag chairs. The space is also available to book for birthday parties - perfect if you’ve got a winter baby!
