Don’t go chasing waterfalls … unless they are lovely just like Steavenson Falls! These picturesque falls are a wonderful little water watching adventure when visiting Marysville. The trail to the lookouts is an easy walk, great for prams and the water itself is fenced off, allowing little chance for little ones to get into trouble. There are platforms that give great views of the cascading water, and if you head down one set of stairs, there is a bridge going right over the river leading to another platform on the other bank. The walk itself is only 700m but makes a great little walk from the visitors carpark.
Mamma's special mention: Marysville has an amazing playground, right on the banks of this river, in the main town. Definitely give it a test drive for yourself.
