pirianda garden, olinda

Pirianda Garden has to be one of the most beautiful places in the East during Autumn. The garden is just filled with colour and plenty of leaves for little feet to crunch and stomp.

Mamma and her boys spotted many different trees, leaves, mushrooms (don’t touch!) pine cones, flowers and more.

There are designated walking tracks that are pram friendly, however Mamma must warn you….it is quite steep! Be prepared for a work out! In saying that you can take things at your own pace, ditch the pram like Mamma did and just wander around the gardens, through the grass and the leaves and go wherever those little feet want to take you.

The scenery changes so much in these gardens it’s hard to believe you are still in the same place. There’s trees to hide under, grass to roll down, colourful leaves to throw, ferns that make you feel like you are in the rainforest and lots of little treasures to find.

There are plenty of seats along the tracks for a rest if needed and with all that lush grass, it’s the perfect place for a picnic.

Mamma looks forward to going back when the seasons change and exploring again.
