LOST by Amanda Parer @ bunjil place, narre warren

Immerse yourself in the magic of Lost — a breathtaking, larger-than-life art installation at Bunjil Place, Narre Warren.

Created by internationally acclaimed Australian artist Amanda Parer, Lost brings endangered botanical species from around the globe to life through towering, illuminated sculptures of flowers and foliage. You can walk right around the flowers and participate in some interactive garden building on the big screen.

The displays are all undercover beneath the wings at Bunjil and glow from 10am to 10pm daily. These make a beautiful backdrop for photos, just like Alice walking through the gardens in a giant wonderland!

Tips - for beautiful portraits, visit in the daytime for great colours. If you visit at night (which is when the garden really pops), have the kids get their faces up close to the petals, almost behind them so the light glows on their faces. Otherwise, these glowing monsters are cool for silhouettes.

It’s bound to be awe-inspiring, family-friendly, and best of all — completely free.
