wren close playground, nunawading

Mamma’s little ones affectionately call this playground “Moo Park”. It’s easy to see why.

You know those parks that have plenty of green space so that once the kiddos have exhausted every available option for play on the playground they still have room to roam? This is one of those parks. And these parks are Mamma’s favourite.

With plenty of things to climb, slide down, swing on and crawl through, this playground will keep the kids engaged for ages. The two giant cows provide fun possibilities for imaginative play, and the space is littered with puzzles, portholes and other little nooks and crannies for shop and cafe play. There are also swings and a climbing frame that will keep your older gymnasts occupied.

The playground itself is set in a beautiful, leafy reserve with sealed paths weaving throughout, making it a great spot to bring a bike. Once Mamma’s boys had finished their exploration of the playground, they spent hours using the large elm trees as a base for all types of nature play.
