warrien reserve, croydon north

Warrien Reserve is a beautiful and quiet playspace with a whole lotta nature nearby. The Reserve is tucked off the main roads and is fully equiped with all the park essentials to make it a family meeting space. You will find a great variety of playground equipment for the juniors to get stuck into as well as Mamma - you will spot her chilling out ... I mean supervising from the hammock. The short walking trails nearby will lead the family through the native bushland and the homeland of the local frogs.

The Maroondah City Council along with Amaze Autism Victoria have also put together a social script for the playspace. This printable document is available online to parents and carers to assist those who need additional assistance with specific information about what to expect from a place, especially if they have not visited the park before. You can find the script here

Mamma's special mention: for more accessible playspaces near by, check out Lillydale Lake as well as Ringwood Lake.
