There’s nothing Mamma loves better than a park that’s a little different from your average playground. Enter Wantirna Reserve Playground in Wantirna.

Freshly renovated and looking mighty fine, this playground incorporates several musical elements throughout the space which are a fun treat for budding performers!

The park includes:

Brightly-coloured, differently-tuned drums which are a fun exploration in sound;
Multiple xylophones scattered throughout the space;
Climb on cajons for the drummer in your life;
A beautiful, bold and bright floral arrangement, tuned to make beautiful melodies from the attached drum sticks.

Beyond the musical flourishes in this park, there are lots of other very fun features! In the corner, there is a flying fox with bright stepping stones leading to the platform. There are two structures complete with slides, rock climbing walls, steering wheels and all sorts of features to explore. Rounding out the space is a set of several swings, including an all abilities swing, a rock creek complete with log crossings, and a timber cubby house which is the perfect launching pad for imaginative play.

The playground sits alongside the newly refurbished hockey pitch which is the perfect spot to bring a bike. It is also positioned next to a fully-fenced, off-lead dog area so this is an ideal outing for your four-legged friend, too!
