the chase reserve playground, berwick

Chase Reserve playground has had a major upgrade!

This bright, inclusive playground had Mamma’s kiddies running at full speed to start exploring. More than just a playground, Chase Reserve feels like an adventure wonderland, with plenty of opportunities for imaginative play.

The native play zone features a trail of discovery pods with fun displays that Miss 4 loved exploring, while Miss 2 set herself up at home in the log tunnel and teepee hut.

A standout feature is the wheelchair-accessible see-saw and merry-go-round spinner. These aren’t something you see at every playground, so it was lovely to see such inclusive additions here. The main attraction, however, is the large climbing tower topped with an exciting windmill. With multiple climbing elements and obstacles, it’s sure to keep kids of all ages entertained and challenged.

While not fenced, the playground is set far enough back from the quiet surrounding streets, which meant Mamma didn’t feel too worried about little ones getting too far, too quickly.

With a large, sheltered picnic area  Chase Reserve playground is a great space to settle in for a BBQ lunch and enjoy a fun filled family afternoon. A fantastic local playground with plenty to keep little explorers busy.
