Xocolatl on Canterbury’s Maling Road is a sweet tooth’s delight, with a deliciously decadent menu certain to satisfy any chocoholic. With cabinetry and shelves stocked with tantalising treats, mouth-watering coffee and chocolate-y spins on Mamma’s favourite drinks, Mamma can live out her childhood dreams of a trip to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, all within the convenience of Canterbury.
Mamma’s little ones love the hazelnut hot chocolates, complete with marshmallows, of course, and they find the chocolate and macadamia cookies hard to resist. They like to round out their visit with a trip to the chocolate cabinet, where they inevitably choose the Winnie-the-Pooh treats - we get two every time.
With shelf after shelf of artisan chocolates available for purchase, Mamma can take a memento of her trip to the Chocolate Factory to make sure the sweet treats continue at home.
