Every great town deserves to have a wonderful cafe for their locals and visitors alike, and Songbird Cafe and Larder is exceptional. You’ll find this cafe in the Main Street of Kinglake and is a popular spot to spend an afternoon under the market umbrellas or out front while watching the world go by.

Variety is the spice of life here too, with a menu chock full of options as well as rotating specials and a display cabinet full of impressive cakes, slices and pastries. The kids are always super happy with the greenest of milkshakes and yummy pancakes. I’ve been told by the locals that the pizzas (reserved for the dinner service Wednesday - Saturdays) are some of the best in the region.
