There is a great news story from 2020 - Harrow and Harvest in Lilydale. Frazer and Eddie have worked tirelessly to transform this magnificent church building into a cafe and retail space for local artists. The building is just breathtaking with multiple places to enjoy meals and coffee with friends. After the rocky beginnings of opening amongst two waves of lockdown, it is now in its full and almost magical glory.
The menu is delicious with plenty to choose from, so whether you are here on a date (the drinks menu is just as beautiful as the food), or out with the mums for a mid week brunch, everyone will enjoy INCLUDING the kids. The snack plates are perfect.
Then of course, Mamma’s absolute favourite part … the playroom. Not only is the space huge, it has a beautifully curated playroom with heaps of toys to keep the kids happy playing ‘shops’ and ‘cafes’ while Mamma can at least finish her conversation with her bestie!
Congrats Harrow and Harvest - this beautiful space is a god-send for families with little ones.
Mamma's special mention: Harrow and Harvest is beautifully located in the middle of Lilydale and has great access to two wonderful places to visit - The Yarra Ranges Regional Museum and Melba Park.
