bonfire station brewery and farmstay, taggerty

Paradise in a paddock - that is what Mamma has uncovered at Bonfire Station in Taggerty. This absolute gem is found in Taggerty - a tiny town past the Black Spur on the way to Lake Eildon. The Station is a dream wedding location and on Sundays - it’s time for the rest of us to head up for a feed.

The set up is simple - heaps of picnic table settings spread throughout the home paddock and sheltered amongst the trees. There is a kids cubby house, an outdoor bar (a very cool covered water tank), a big box of toy diggers and some games to entertain.

The menu is simple too and it is all about the pizza. This has to be some of the best we have ever tried - especially the best we have ever had on a farm! The spicy prawn will go down as Mamma’s all time favourites and the sweet potato fries will be spoken about all the way home!

Once you have eaten you really can just sit back and relax - there is even a hammock if you want a real kip - or take a wander down to the dam, try and sneak a look in the bus or just grab some pencils and colouring in sheets, which just happen to feature the farm pets.

The Station opens on Sundays only and Mamma recommends you make a booking AND keep an eye out for some pretty special events coming up soon.
