There is nothing quite like an ice cold beer, a slice of pizza and a place for the kids to play after they’ve spent some time in the car. Anvil Brewing Co hits the perfect spot at their family friendly brewery and restaurant in Mansfield.
This place is huge. There are great long tables inside and plenty of spots for smaller groups. But it is the outdoors that blows Mamma away. The yard has about a dozen picnic style tables, all sheltered under big market umbrellas and cooled by the misting fans. The giant mural on the rear wall is another stand out but the biggest winner is the caravan cubby house and jenga blocks.
Mamma does have to coax the kids away from their play when it is time to eat - but that is no drama at all, especially with yummy chicken and chips and super cheesy pizza. There is a full pub style menu here but the pizza oven in on high rotation here at Anvil. Mamma recommends getting here early in service to grab a spot or make a booking so you don’t miss out.
