Here is another local cafe that just happened to open during a global pandemic. Bark + Silk is a new cafe found at the Burnt Bridge shops on the Croydon/Ringwood border. Its beautiful interior is matched perfectly to the stunning food that is pumped out from the kitchen. Mamma loves the Pork Belly Benny. The layers of flavour are something else! But then - wait for it - the most impressive kids meal we have ever seen! The kids waffles - with fresh berries and little chocolate treats - is nothing short of amazing. Little and big foodies are in for a real treat!

Mamma’s special mention: Our playground of choice (and because scooters are life in our house right now) is McAplin Reserve in Ringwood North.
