canterbury gardens, canterbury

Let’s get outside, explore the gardens, hug a tree and collect a great big bunch of acorns. Canterbury Gardens is THE spot to do just this. These beautiful public gardens are a little splice of gorgeousness ideal for a picnic, or simply a walk through on a stunning day. If you visit during autumn - Mamma’s favourite time for a stroll - you will find plenty of leaves to dance in and make an angel or two. There is a rotunda if you need to seek some shelter or you will find plenty under one of the many gigantic tree canopies throughout the gardens. There are formal gardens here too with beautiful flowers bringing colour to your day!

Mamma's special mentions: Jump in the pram and head up the road, under the train line and explore Mailing Road. There is a bunch of cafes including Between Us and Chicken or the Egg, plus toy shops, kids clothes and a classic, old-school LOLLY SHOP!
