Check out Water World! The COOLEST water playground in Melbourne. This FREE water park and playground is fantastic and perfect for all ages. We love that there is plenty of space and the kids keep moving all around the aquatic zone. The jets are nice and gentle (nothing that pops up from below that can frighten the little ones like at Seville) … all except of course if you get caught below the drenching bucket!
The main space is a great place to hang out as becomes a river collecting all the water. The hill section is great for taking aim at your mates. Then of course, there is a water slide! This is the first one we have seen in a public water park. It doesn’t have the greatest of inclines and board-shorts seem to stick - which is all for the best, as they tend not to fly off the edge!
In addition to the water play, the brand new playground is wonderful and features one of the highest slides we have seen! One end, towards the holiday park, is for your juniors and includes a sandpit and digger. The ‘big kids’ park is on the opposite side and has some great balancing challenges.
This place is set to be a total HIT this summer. We love that there is a proper toilet block (the cubicles are extra long which makes it much easier for changing), there is some shade and grassy areas, and the great mix of play zones.
