seville water play park, seville
/When the sun is shining in the Yarra Valley, the locals know to head to the coolest spot around - the Seville Water Play. The original swimming pool has been converted into an amazing play space with shooting jet streams, running rivers and timed sprinklers. Some hidden trigger buttons set off the fun. The setting is designed to mimic the water cycle with the main jets running from the mountains and travelling through the valley to the dam below - who says you can’t learn anything while having fun. Further on from the jets the area transitions into nature play where the water trickles further. The whole family can get involved in the water play including crawlers, but watch out, you might get wet! Shade is limited, so make sure you slip, slop, slap.
Since we visited (with the camera) last, there as been a undercover pavilion built alongside the water play AND if you head through the playground, towards the netball courts you will find the new change rooms PLUS they have fixed the street parking situation. YAY!
Mamma’s special mentions: There is brilliant playspace, the Seville Regional Playspace just next door to ensure there is something on offer in Seville all year round. The built in trampolines are always Mamma's favourite! If you need some tucker once you have finished playing, head towards the Warburton Trail to the Carriage Cafe for a unique dining experience!
