newman park, traralgon

Traralgon has to have the biggest regional playground space Mamma has seen. Newman Park has 4 playground structures, plus a sandpit, a rocking car AND an old school flying fox. It seems that over the years new additions have been made to this playspace and instead of bulldozing one, new spaces have been added, making it a great playground to explore with a range of ages.

You can start at the castle, explore the train and country themed all-accessible play structure, run through a maze and then test our your ninja warrior skills. Everything is nice and flat making it good for supervising and has plenty of extra space to kick a ball or maybe even fly a kite.

Mamma's special mention: Head here on the forth Sunday of the month and go for a ride on the miniature railway, run buy the Gippsland Model Engineering Society. Mamma said it before - the play space is HUGE!

the nitty gritty
