Make a splash and keeping cool at Aqualink. The Chillzone will be up and running with inflatables and Tarzan ropes at both Nunawading and Box Hill (plus there is always the splash pad for the younger kids at Box Hill or the diving pool for the bigger ones!)
At the Strathdon House and Orchard Precinct you can Make your own Lunar New Year decorations, learn how to make Tang Yuan, grow food from scraps, practice woodworking with Eco Explorers or complete the Strathdon treasure hunt. Bookings essential.
Artist Jens Altheimer will be working in amazing ways at Box Hill Town Hall. There is an Art Meets Science Arts day where children will create a Wacky Lolly Shooting Machine out of recycled materials and Marvellous Machines Art Day where they will make a their own mini catapult with the team from Engineering Kids. Finally, the Thingamabobs Family Show - BHCAC will be transformed into a maze of machines and funny contraptions. Take a tour, see his inventions come to life and interact with them. Prepare for some serious silliness!

FREE Looking after our Feathered Friends in Summer at Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, Yarran Dheran Nature Reserve and Abbey Walk - learn about nature’s homes and see how local birds and animals make their nests and burrows in tree hollows and more. Bookings essential

The ever popular Box Hill Community Arts Centre classes and workshops are BACK! Jump online to book a session. There are clay sessions, print making, drawing and more.

Schwerkolt Cottage are an open day on Saturday 14 January. Explore history at this local treasure! Children can take part in the Heritage Hunt and play old-fashioned games.
Hop, skip and jump into this dance program these school holidays for FREE dance sessions at Box Hill Mall, Britannia Mall and Brentford Square. Local dance schools and Activate Whitehorse are hosting free dance classes. All abilities and ages welcome, no bookings needed.
There is a bunch of great hire your own space at Sportlink and Aqualink to practice your netball, basketball, badminton or table tennis skills.
