Every budding reader needs an inspiring space to find their next favourite characters, stories and authors. But more importantly these learners need a passionate adult who can help open the door to the world of reading and match some amazing books to the interests and minds of these kiddos.
Enter Erin, the owner - and hero of junior literature - at the The Kids Bookshop in Mitcham. This local mum and librarian knows her stuff about the world of children’s books and has a knack of helping match wonderful stories for the kids that visit the cutest little bookshop in Britannia Mall.
The store is an intimate collection of local and international authors, and has been carefully curated to help spark imaginations. Mamma’s kids uncovered some old favourites on the shelves but were able to take home some new treasures that suit them to a tee and haven’t been put down since!
