You have to know - Mamma squealed in delight heading into Maisie’s Milkbar in Emerald! This new lollyshop has us reminiscing on our childhood memories of bringing in coins and choosing sweet goodies at the local shop on the corner. If only we could be little kids again!
There’re the classics on the shelves - jelly beans, bubble gum, sour straps, sherbet - but also some little toys and knick-knacks that are a less sugar fuelled option, and still at a pocket-money friendly price point.
But that is just the beginning.
Sharon has provided SO much more than lollies. As you walk past the aisles, to the rear of the shop, you’ll find tables that you can take a load off. Order a coffee OR a slushy (these are made from fruit juice and although will still give you a brain freeze, are really delicious) OR an ice cream.
PLUS there is a playzone! The nook at the back of the back has a reading area, a chalk board, a blowup unicorn (a must have for all playrooms) and a basket of toy trains. simply pop your shoes in the basket and have a play. You can even hire the space for a party!
Mamma thinks we need a Maisie’s in every suburb now!
