jennifer mills: in the echo chamber @ bunjil place, narre warren

Explore award-winning Melbourne artist Jennifer Mills’ new exhibition In The Echo Chamber at Bunjil Place.

Featuring over 100 watercolours, the exhibition spans Mills’ beloved depictions of animals and screen icons through to slice of life portrayals of suburbia and family.

Families are well catered for, with creative activities running throughout the week. Little ones will love Art Animal Bingo – pick up a card at the entrance and hunt for animals in the paintings (Mamma’s two-year-old was determined to spot every horsie!).

For all ages, the slow looking and drawing activity invites visitors to pause, connect with the artworks, and sketch their own interpretations with the help of an art card filled with the artist’s insights.

On the last Sunday of each month, the Art For All workshops offer drop-by drawing sessions led by local artists - relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for every skill level. And for teens keen to dive deeper, Jennifer Mills herself hosts a special paid watercolour workshop.

Free, fun, and fabulously creative - this is an exhibition the whole family can enjoy together.
