The wait is over - the fully fenced, Stud Park Playground has opened. This farm themed playground has been designed to be an all-abilities play space, catering for children in a range of different ways.
The main feature is the farm climbing frame that looks like it has come from Old McDonald’s backyard. There are chickens roosting, a water tank and even a friendly spider on the ropes. To the side you’ll find a farm-gate shop that the kids can sell the imaginary eggs and produce. Plus there’s a spinning noise maker - listen out for the cows!
Mamma’s kids are suckers for some sand pit play and if it has a water pump - even better, as like all kids, they love to build rivers and dams amongst the sand. They also had a ball on the bird nest swing, the trampoline and monkey bars.
There is heaps of open space here with some concrete paths that could be good for scooters, plus there is lots of astro turf (great option when the toddlers just want to eat the tan bark!). So pack your hats and head to the park for a play.
Mamma thinks this one is better suited for younger age groups but the for the older kids, there are basket ball courts next door and a flying fox outside of the main play area too.
