quambee reserve, ringwood north

This is one for the BIG kids - But of course it doesn't stop Mamma's little one! Quambee Reserve is simple - MASSIVE slide, HUGE flying fox and a birds nest swing. Enough to entertain the dare devils and it is not suited to your little toddlers. When this one was 2, if Daddy wasn't with us Mamma wouldn't have a hope of getting this kid up the ladder - But man ... I'm glad he was coz this slide is a winner. Now this nearly 4 year old is so excited now she can do it all on her own, including the flying fox. This playground is tucked down in the middle of Quambee Reserve, in between the two ovals. There are also tennis courts and equestrian field in the back corner.

Mamma's special mention: Only take the kids that can climb AND are good with heights. It is seriously tricky to get up unless your kids can climb on their own, or is light enough to be carried up by a confident adult. If you can't tick those boxes you might end up with tears.

the nitty gritty

three pieces of equipment - limited facilities - flying fox - toilets at the football club (open on game days)
