ngarrak nakorang wilam park, vermont
/Attention Easties - there’s a new playground in town! Ngarrak Nakorang Wilam Park, the highly anticipated playground next to Vermont Secondary College on Morack Road, is finally open and ready for business.
As part of the upgrade to the Healesville Freeway Reserve, this new playground includes a fully-sealed pump track, nature-themed play structures including swings and rope climbing, seating, BBQs, shelter and tracks sprawling in either direction for dogs and bike riders.
Mamma loves how the space invites imaginative play and reflects the natural elements of the reserve which envelops it. With plenty of green space to roam about and generous pine trees around which to forage for pine cones, little ones will be happy to while away the hours immersed in nature play in between hot laps on the pump track!
Mamma suggests hitting the park during school hours as it’s a popular hub for the secondary school students next door once the end-of-day bell rings. So pick your time, pack your snacks, jump on the bikes and head to this new, magical park.
