lipscombe park, croydon
/Calling all Easties - Lipscombe Park in Croydon has had a glow up and she is looking spectacular!
This park covers all the bases and then some. It is fully fenced, has amazing shade, has bins, picnic tables, chairs, drink taps and even a basketball court for your older kiddos. Mamma recommends keeping an eye on the gates along the fence - they’re a great addition but they’re not toddler-proof. Still, this park is an amazing playspace for the whole family.
Mamma’s little ones especially like the corner with the cubby house and fidget spinners. As you wind along the concrete path (hello, scooters and bikes!), there’s a bigger structure with lots of ropes to climb, plenty of slides, monkey bars and lots of different puzzles, including a paper, scissors, rock game and a steering wheel installation.
Beyond this structure lies plenty of swings, including a large rope swing, and the famed basketball court.
Right next door to popular McAdams Square, this park is ideally located and the perfect spot to pack a picnic. It also adjoins Lipscombe Oval which is another draw card for older kids and allows you full access to the toilets just across at the pavilion.
This park is perfectly laid out and packed with amenities, making it a must-add to your playground list.
