Country Charm - Gembrook Market, Gembrook

This is the quintessential country market… but better because there’s a playground next door!

Gembrook Market is held on the fourth Sunday of each month and is filled with local crafts, fresh produce, plants, delicious baked goods and hot coffee. With stalls spread out both inside the community hall and out the front, this is a market for all seasons.

There is an abundance of community spirit in this little place - where locals come together to share their skills and knowledge on crafts that are slowly disappearing. Mamma and the six year old cannot get enough of watching the lady spinning wool in the hall - SO satisfying!

For the little ones, you’ll find face painting and plenty of kid-friendly craft kits for sale… last time Mamma visited, there was even a musician there with instruments for the kids so they could get involved!

And once you’ve had your fill of that good ol’ country market charm, take your coffee and venture a few steps to the left where Gembrook Leisure Park is waiting. With a great playground, multi-sport court and skate park, a lazy Sunday in Gembrook never looked so good.
